Announcing the establishment of the ENT  Charitable Fund

“Making a difference in real life by paying it forward in second life”

The ENT Media Group charitable fund has been established to identify methods and implementation of fund raising projects.

The sole purpose of the fund, is to raise money which will be distributed among worthy charities, both within and external to Second life.

As part of the Charitable Funds operation the development of products to generate funds for the charity is the core focus and over the past year a number of products have been produced and sold.

Last year the Fund donated over 20,000 Lindens and with the release of our latest product, Sound Quiz, we are on track to release over 150,000 Lindens in the first 6 months of FY18.

Over the next months, the charity board will be working to adopt a number of activities designed to provide a greater exposure of the work that the fund does in SL and look for new and innovative ways we can offer the residents of SL the means to donate.

Your support is much appreciated, as is the time and effort of the ENT Charitable fund staff in volunteering their time.

The ENT Charitable fund has made a donation of 40,000 Lindens to Homes or Our Troops.

Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) is a privately funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post – 9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Most of these Veterans have sustained injuries including multiple limb amputations, partial or full paralysis, and/or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). These homes restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed while defending our country, and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives. Since its inception in 2004, nearly 90 cents of every dollar has gone directly to our program services for Veterans. HFOT builds these homes where the Veteran chooses to live, and continues its relationship with the Veterans after home delivery to assist them with rebuilding their lives.

The ENT Charitable Fund has donated 40,000 Lindens which has paid for 5 micro loans of $25 USD each. When paid back will again be reinvested for others to take out micro loans.
